About the book:

A Walk in Wildflower Park was originally published as a four-part serial. This is the complete story in one package.

Life’s not always a walk in the park…

When Anna is dumped by her fiancé, she moves in to her own place on the edge of the gorgeous Wildflower Park and pledges to stay off men and focus on her career, but a handsome new colleague seems to thwart her attempts at every turn. And when she receives an accidental text from a mystery man, could it be the new start she needs? Or someone she really shouldn't be falling for?

Anna’s neighbour Sophie is a stressed-out mum-of-two with a third on the way. Her husband is a constant frustration, and their children are a regular source of newly-invented swear words and unidentifiable sticky surfaces.

Luckily, Anna and Sophie have each other – and Wildflower Park proves to be a sanctuary as they map out a path to find the happiness they both deserve…

Fantastically funny, this irresistibly heart-warming novel will charm fans of Milly Johnsonand Jill Mansell.

About the Author:

I've been jotting down my stories as far back as I can remember. Somehow life took over, I got a sensible job in project management and the writing has remained a passion. I live in The Midlands with my lovely husband and our wonderful daughter, who thankfully, both accept me as I am (with my mad morning hair and a penchant for skipping). Five bookish facts about Bella Osbourne:

Fact 1: I loved reading as a child and had loads of favourites. The weekly trip to the village library was a highlight. Especially in winter when we would come home, light the fire, make hot chocolate and look at our book haul (long before it was called such a thing).

Here’s my top five:

· The Hundred and One Dalmatians by Dodi Smith

· The Turbulent Term of Tyke Tyler

· The Secret Seven series by Enid Blyton

· The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien

· The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

Fact 2: Confession - I’ve never listened to an audiobook. Of the books I read I’d say half are in paperback and half on Kindle. It’s rare for me to read a hardback – they make my wrist ache. I love my Kindle best on holiday because it’s so much better than the case full of paperbacks my husband and I used to take. I also get very twitchy with regards to sun and water damaged paperbacks (see Fact 5 below).

Fact 3: I’m a really slow reader. I’m not quite Joey from Friends but not far off. I didn’t realise quite how slow I was until I joined a book club and had to juggle my pleasure reads with book club reads.

Fact 4: I read every night before I go to sleep. Reading at weekends was a favourite thing but it now gets swallowed up by family time but if I do get the chance to read then it feels very indulgent. I always read on holiday. This is my binging time and I save the latest Jill Mansell novel to take with me.

Fact 5: I have a bit of a book phobia – I’m not sure how else to describe it. Basically I freak out if someone damages a book. I was taught that books were very precious things. At my grandma’s I had to wash my hands before reading, which was not unreasonable as I spent a lot of my time climbing trees and digging holes. I wasn’t allowed to write my name in books, which also meant I never filled in any of the puzzles in annuals – because how could I? That was writing in a book. I still feel a mild panic if I see someone break the spine of a book, or heaven forbid, turn down a page corner. It took me a long time to accept that as an author it was okay to sign my name in books although I’m still not 100% sure my grandma would approve.
